So, Friday babystitting went well and Grandma returned to give me some relief. It went better for me than it did for her though. As soon as she was home, she left again with them, returning only a short while later to share of her woe. I was only there a bit, for I was off to go to Mass for the Feast of the Sacred Heart. Returning home, Ty pulled up just as I walked in. We had plans to head to Polishfest! We went for Gyros & ate them on the porch. Soon, Ty's friend Kathy arrived and we all headed off to the great fest. There was ample parking and not very many people had turned out for the event. Which was ok by us. We walked around and looked at all of the sights and listened to the great polka music. It was wonderful! I had a blast - and then FIREWORKS! We sat on the rocks of the lake and watched as they exploded above. A wonderful evening.

Saturday was a busy day as well... errands for a friend, looking for motorcycle helmet for me, Adoration, lunch from Kopps (the best burgers and Custard in town), and then time to get ready for our date! :) Tyson's original plans fell through due to the unseasonably warm weather we have been experiencing on this side of the lake. So, new plans were made. I came downstairs to discover he had gotten me flowers - not regular ones though... a cactus that will soon flower with pink blooms. The perfect gift for me since I do not possess much of a green thumb. :o) We were then off to Au Bon Appetit - a restaurant known for their fabulous meditteranean cuisine. It was wonderful and we just sat and talked and listened to the great music play - themes from Some Where In Time, among others. Then back home to give Ty's mom some Tiramisu we bought for her and then off again to Starbucks and then to a movie. We had the misfortune of picking a crappy one - Click. Don't see it, don't even rent it. It was HORRIBLE. Watch its much better prequel called The Family Man with Nicholas Cage. We then returned home, we were going to go to Linnemanns (the local bar - likened to Powell's) but I felt sick so we talked and then off to bed.

This morning, Mass at the Basilica (my favorite Church on this side of the Atlantic) and then back home to make Waffles. Polishfest is again in the schedule today - this time with the family. And then hopefully family dinner since it is Sunday.

Well, that is a current detailed (though not exclusive) account of my happenings here. So, I am off to eat yummy breakfast. Hope your weekend is as wonderful as mine. :)
