Traveling....

This current state, which I find myself in, called Summer, is one which is allowing me to travel to places both old and new. The first of this summer's trips shall bring me to the East coast, places such as Atlantic City (& THE BEACH!!!) and Philadelphia and maybe even New York. The joy of this trip is that it is a road trip, one that I shall be embarking on with a dear friend of mine. The sad part of the story is that I shall be returning alone as she will be staying out there for school. But the time together will be a blessing and also tremendous amounts of fun. Two pink girls off to explore the world. :) The second of this summer's adventures shall take me to the south to a state known for alligators, beaches and hurricanes - yup, FL! Not my state of choice, as the humidity does not agree with me. California is much more me! However, two dear friends of mine are tying the knot and it is for this purpose that I am flying down to take part in the beautiful celebration of marriage. But the trip will also involve some necessary and some more beach time. Of course this will necessitate me finding a dress - you know one of those cute little fun dresses that is just perfect... if you have ever looked for the perfect dress to wear to such and event than you know exactly what I am talking about... it is almost impossible and will involve much of my time. It would not be nearly as difficult if they made dresses that actually fit and charged about 1/10th the price.... so really my first adventure shall be to navigate the seas of clearance racks in the hopes of finding, tucked behind some ridiculous orange plaid dress - that perfect, couldn't fit better, made for you dress that has conveniently been marked down 6 times. This is the kind of fate that a friend of mine had and I am hoping that mine shall be the same. :)
So other than the travel plans and the necessary shopping that these trips shall procure - things are quiet here. Not much going on... Pistons games, Top of the Park for outdoor movies, and hanging out with my little niece and her aunts.
